COVID-19 Message: PSC is here for our clients and communities
March 19, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented global emergency affecting us all. As a society, we’re following our governments’ mandates and guidelines, we’re pitching in as we can to keep our families and communities safe, and we’re taking action to help lessen negative consequences during this difficult time.

Most of PSC’s clients are electric utilities whose core mission is delivering reliable service to its customers, and in times like these, reliability is more indispensable than ever. Beyond providing mission-critical electricity, in response to the COVID-19 situation, many utilities around the world have announced they are suspending service disconnections and forgiving late payment fees.

We are inspired by these actions.

Living our values every day

Empowering each other to make a difference and do the right thing is a value that guides PSC every day. We want our clients and communities to be aware of some of the steps we’re taking and to reassure you that we’re committed to being responsible and flexible to your needs as we all navigate this extraordinary time together.

  • We recognize the work we perform together is critical and we are working to provide uninterrupted service over the coming months.
  • PSC teams are empowered to work remotely when feasible to provide you seamless service regardless of location. In line with that, our offices around the world are changing to a work-from-home model for the time being.
  • We are restricting unnecessary business travel to protect our clients and staff. We know travel of any kind can trigger quarantine policies from clients and governments. PSC will do our best to avoid travel to ensure quality, consistent and uninterrupted service to you. Travel that is mission-critical to our clients is being allowed with executive approval.
  • PSC’s Emergency Management Team is actively monitoring and applying the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We’re here to help

This virus outbreak is a dynamic situation and we are committed to continuing to deliver the kind of dependable service our clients have come to expect from PSC. We are confident these steps, in combination with close coordination with our clients, will enable us to fulfill our mission to you and our communities at large.

Please contact us if there is anything we can do to help, whether that is advising on work from home strategies or backfilling staff vacancies resulting from impacts of COVID-19.

PSC is here for our clients and communities.
