PSC welcomes Dr Amir Hashim to our team as the new General Manager for Asia. Amir has extensive executive-level experience in the global power and energy arena. His prior experience is in corporate transformation and strategy with a focus on power. He has worked with developers and project implementation roles for power utilities, off-grid supply, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. He graduated with multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering, up to the Doctorate level. Amir is based in our Singapore office.

Charles brings his experience in market design, real-time operations and renewable energy markets to his new PSC role. Wisnu brings over ten years of SCADA/EMS/ADMS project and software engineering experience to this role. Surendranath brings over ten years of experience with renewable and conventional power system projects with extensive exposure to regulatory issues, asset management, power trading and many other areas of the energy business. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology (EEE) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Gudlavalleru Engineering College. PSC welcomes Carl Rouppe van der Voort to the APAC Power Networks team as a Senior Power Systems Engineer. Carl started his involvement in the power industry by first qualifying as a registered electrician and electrical fitter before obtaining his Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Auckland in 2015. With over ten years of experience in the electric utility industry, Carl brings his skills in power systems analysis, electrical engineering, power generation commissioning and testing, and compliance and strategic regulatory analysis to his new role at PSC. Carl will be part of the NZ Power Systems Studies team and is based in the Johnsonville, New Zealand, office.

PSC welcomes William Mao to the role of Managing Director for North America. William lives in Houston, Texas, and comes to PSC from Eos Energy Enterprises, a business focused on battery energy storage solutions where he served as their Chief Commercial Officer. Before Eos, he had a 14-year career with ABB/Hitachi Energy, where he held various leadership, product, sales and marketing roles in their data center and power transformer businesses. He also led ABB’s US oil, gas, and petrochemical businesses before making the move to electricity. William is based remotely in the US.

Dr. Pasquini joins us with 20 years of experience supporting workplace learning and performance improvement. Huilian has over ten years of experience in energy research and was involved with major European projects related to smart grids and renewable energy integration, successfully solving various critical network issues in power systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Science (Eng) in Communication and Information Systems from Shenzhen University, China, and a dual Bachelor of Science in Communication Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Business English from Shenzhen University, China. Huilian is based remotely in the UK.
