PSC's Expectations of Suppliers
PSC exists to empower people to transform the energy industry so that, together, we power a sustainable world. PSC is committed to sustainable, ethical, and inclusive procurement practices that deliver value for our clients and stakeholders.
This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the standards PSC expects of its suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Suppliers are expected to communicate these standards throughout their own supply chains where relevant.
Suppliers must promptly notify PSC of any actual or suspected breach of this Code, or any circumstance likely to result in non-compliance.
Health and Safety
Suppliers must comply with all applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and recognized codes of practice.
Suppliers are expected to provide safe systems of work, competent personnel, suitable equipment, and appropriate risk controls when delivering goods or services to PSC.
Ethical Behavior
Suppliers must conduct business with honesty, integrity, and fairness, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Suppliers must avoid deceptive, misleading, unethical, or unfair business practices.
Bribery and Corruption
PSC has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and maintain appropriate controls to prevent bribery, fraud, facilitation payments, kickbacks, or improper inducements.
Conflicts of Interest
Suppliers must avoid conflicts of interest involving PSC.
Any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest must be declared to PSC promptly.
Freedom of Association and Fair Treatment
Suppliers are expected to respect workers' lawful rights to freedom of association, collective bargaining, and representation in accordance with applicable laws.
Suppliers must not discriminate against workers for exercising these rights.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
PSC values a diverse and inclusive supply chain.
Suppliers are encouraged to promote fair treatment, equal opportunity, and respectful workplaces free from unlawful discrimination based on race, color, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion, or social/ethnic background.
Suppliers are encouraged to support diverse businesses, including Indigenous-owned, women-owned, disability, and social enterprises, where practical.
Human Rights and Modern Slavery
Suppliers must respect internationally recognized human rights and comply with all applicable labor and employment laws.
Suppliers must not engage in or tolerate:

deceptive recruitment practices
Suppliers must take reasonable steps to identify and address such risks within their own supply chains.
Upon request, suppliers must provide relevant supply chain information and declare identified labor concerns to PSC.
Suppliers involved in serious breaches may be subject to suspension or termination of supply arrangements and referral to relevant authorities where required.
Environment
Suppliers must comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Suppliers are encouraged to minimize waste, emissions, pollution, and environmental harm, and to support sustainable practices within their operations and supply chains.
Upon request, suppliers must provide relevant information regarding environmental matters connected to goods or services supplied to PSC.
Responsible Sourcing and Conflict Minerals
Suppliers must declare, before supply, any goods containing hazardous substances or conflict minerals where relevant.
Upon request, suppliers must provide information regarding hazardous substances, material compliance, or conflict minerals within their supply chains.
Information Security and Data Protection
Suppliers must protect confidential, commercially sensitive, and personal data relating to PSC, its people, and clients.
Suppliers must comply with applicable privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection laws and take reasonable steps to prevent misuse, theft, fraud, loss, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access.
These obligations continue after completion of the supply arrangement.
Compliance with this Code
PSC may review supplier alignment with this Code as part of supplier onboarding, engagement, performance review, tendering, or contract management activities.
Failure to meet applicable requirements may impact ongoing or future business opportunities with PSC.
