APPEEC2022 conference-November 2022Members of PSC recently attended the 14th IEEE PES Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference 2022 (APPEEC) which was held 20-23 November 2022 in Melbourne, Australia. PSC’s Amir Mehrtash, Mohammad Seidaliseifabad, Hesam Marzooghi, and other speakers discussed the challenges, opportunities and possible pathways to meet renewable targets in the NEM.

Hesam Marzooghi presented the impact of renewable generations on control and operation of the NEM. Mohammad Seidaliseifabad presented the hosting capacity of DER, associated issues with them and how different control mechanisms can assist in increasing their uptake in the NEM.
