Role Summary

PSC is seeking experienced Distribution Engineers as part of the company’s worldwide growth in the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) space. A successful applicant should expect a long and rewarding career with PSC as this is a full-time, permanent position.

  • Proven experience in problem-analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation for Distribution systems
  • Utility operational technology project and support experience and mindset
  • Basic understanding of the day-to-day operations of a power utility control room
  • A working knowledge of maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports real-time critical business systems
  • A solid understanding IT infrastructure fundamentals is required
  • An understanding that IT/OT infrastructure only exists to serve a functional purpose for end-users
  • Academic degree in Power Systems Engineering or IT Systems
  • Ability to travel in NA and globally


  • At least 3-5 years Distribution control system experience
  • Hands-on experience with at least one DMS vendor system (GE, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, OSI)
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language
  • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS databases
  • Excellent power-user computer skills
  • Proficiency with Windows server, Windows desktops, and Linux
  • Proficiency with virtualization


  • Advanced degree in Power Systems Engineering Studies
  • Experience with Advanced DMS applications
  • Experience with Advanced OMS applications
  • Familiarity with SAP resources, GIS, and Network modeling
  • Proficiency with server hardware
  • Proficiency with IPv4 networking
